I was always interested in the touch and feel of working with different materials ranging from fabric, metal, cotton, wood and many others. The qualities of their sensations would remind me of unique memories I would have as a child. So much so that certain material became more familiar and comfortable for me to use.

As I got more familiar with using various kinds of materials to communicate and express different emotional states, I approached wedding dress design in a way that many designers have not and found my passion in creating dresses that expresses the material through its purposes and complements the personality of the wearer.

Design Process

Design can be defined to conceive the idea for some artifact or system and/or to express the idea in a form. It would also mean reaching the goals within constraints.

Here, the goals consist of the purpose like who is the design for? What is the use of the design etc. The constraints on the other hand are the materials and the platforms to be used.

Overall it is a very challenging job to create a design that is aesthetic, creative and innovative at the same time. Another variable to consider in the process is your individual personalities and how the design is affected and shaped to match your unique style.

None Fits All

Everyone individual is unique and most retailers do not address this within their designs. Our designers acknowledge this fact however, as we encourage our clients to sit with us on a one-to-one meeting for an informal talk to gain inspiration from our clients and soak all the design ideas preferred by the clients. Later on, those ideas form the seed on which we start to shape the form of the dresses.
